My girls @ the ward party. Syd is a devil, Payson is a rocker (or Hannah Montana), and the baby is DORA. She pulled off her hula skirt which she was going to wear, and pulled on her pink pants saying dora, dora, dora. So the girl is dora.

CARS....AHHHH

So this summer was the summer of car problems for our family. We thought that we were safe for at least 6 months or more. Wyatt called me today and said that he was stranded in the Burger King parking lot. The car would not start. Our mechanic towed the car from Sandy to AF. Hopefully it won't be anything major. My mechanic couldn't believe that we are having problems again. SO like the title, CARS....AHHHHH!

Pumpkin carving

Last tuesday night we did the pumpkin carving. Wyatt made some awesome seeds, and the kids had a blast. The holidays are on the way.

Saturday football game

One of our friends kids plays football so we went to the game on Saturday. Payson asked if we would be in a box, because she only wanted to go to the game if we had a box. Boy her dates better have box seats if they want to take her to sporting events.

My new hobbie...I feel so domestic.

My friend Vera and I have been canning this summer. We did apricot jam, unfortunately this is all I have left. Vera's jam didn't turn out so I gave her 3 of my bottles. I can't wait to do it next year. We also made salsa. It turned out so good. I have about 16 jars of salsa. I don't think it will last a year but maybe through out the winter.

MY BED

I came home from work one night to find Lexy and Bennett asleep on my bed. Of course Lexy takes up the ENTIRE bed.

The Lexy Pancake

Last Saturday Wyatt made Chocolate chip pancakes for the kids. He ended up with enough batter for an army(or Jones)breakfast. So he made a one of a kind pancake for Lexy. He made a big pancake then put dogfood on it then garnished it with a pickle. Our dog was one happy puppy.

latest Austin injuries

This last week Payson was climbing up in the tree following Jon and Syd. Jon told her she better jump out before she falls out of the tree. So she jumped...needless to say she sprained her ankle. This happened last Sat night. She ended up missing church and 2 days of school. Sunday she would crawl all around the house. we started calling her Clara (from Heidi). The Busses came over on Sunday, and Reagan would push Clara around the park in the stroller. We are very grateful she didn't break her ankle.

Austin Summer of Car trouble

So this summer we had a crazy experience. We spent the entire summer trying to get our van to pass the Utah saftey and emmissions. Wyatt installed a new headlight because last Oct. as we were driving to Az I hit a deer. We had taken our van to the Aamco in American Fork. We needed to have our catalytic convertor replaced, unfortunately this cat... is attached to the manifold. So it was very pricy to be replaced. They searched the country to find the least expensive catalytic convertor. It was so nice to know that they were trying to keep the cost low. It seems that sometimes the mechanic will charge you as much as they can get away with. I am so grateful that we found a honest mechanic. Well as they were finishing up with my car, Wyatt's car broke down. I was driving it and the alternator went out. Talk about when it rains it pours!! We ended up renting a car for afew days. Luckily Aamco was GREAT it get us up and running. So If you are looking for a wonderful shop check out the American Fork Aamco. Thank you Wood and Amy for all your help!!!

Payson's Experience w/ Wasp's

This summer Payson was playing in the backyard by our deck. We found a wasp nest back there, and I hadn't gotten around to spraying it . Anyhow Payson got too close. She was stung 4 times. Twice on the face, once on her belly and once on her arm. Poor girl was in alot of pain. Her poor was swollen for a few days.

I found this on my computer, This halloween was 4 years ago. My babies have grown up so fast.
